Does anybody have any advice for me?

I have a Bubble Tip Anemone for 3 days and it's not open... Is it dying? I've attached a photo of it yesterday and what it currently looks like. I have a 45 gallon tank with 2 clownfish, 1 Angelfish and 1 Goby.

I've never added any chemicals to it to date and don't intend to. I'm going to try PWC every week and turn the lights out to see if that works. I'll look into these pad thingys if things don't improve. Has anybody else used these? Will they help with the algae? What was your intended purpose for...

It comes off real easy!

I increased the flow on my powerheads. And when I go to the LFS early this week I'll get the water chemicals checked and I'm going to get more Emerald Crabs to eat my hairy algae.

What's poly pads? I haven't heard of these...

And I really don't want to add any chemicals to the tank. I don't want to harm any of the fish I already have in it.

I have 2 VorTech power heads at either end of my tank. I'll increase the water flow and see if that helps. Is there anything that will eat it? None of the crabs or snails will get anywhere near it. And my Phosphate level is 0 so I can't do anything about that. I have perfect water so there...

When I tried coral and it died my LFS told me to remove it as it would hurt my tank.

Can anyone tell me if this is good or bad algae? And if It's bad, what I can do to get rid of it. All help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for suggesting a refractometer. And I do have an RO... All is well now.

Just got the refractometer and found out the salt level was too low... Now I know why the shrimp died :-/

I'm going to get my water checked out... Hopefully it's as good as my tests say it is. What website do you buy fish off of? How many have died in the 14 days warranty period?

I went back to get a refund and they wouldn't give it to me... Said the shrimp are too sensitive and easily shocked. I'll go and get the water checked.

I use a floating arm hydrometer. I purchased 2 of them and I swear one is broken...

That does kinda suck...

And I read my kit a little closer... It's not alkalinity its KH

Salinity is 1.026

There's 65 lbs of live rock. The test says my alkalinity is in the normal range. What is SG?

Well I just checked the levels again and I had no ammonia. There's no copper. PH is 8.1. No nitrate or nitrite. No phosphate. Alkalinity is 143.2 And calcium is 460.

I've had the tank 5 months now. I get all my fish from one place. I looked at the shrimp again to see if he had molted... I don't think so unless his black eyes molt as well. See attached photo... Let me know if you think he molted. I don't see him at all in the tank either...
