We already have a 60g reef tank with hydras and all but we want to start a 150 fowlr for fish that are not reef safe. What suggestions can we get for lighting? Can we put together our own? As far as a stand... we are going to build it. And structural suggestions? What kind of filtration system...

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? We feed him 3 times a day and our water conditions are fine. Could it be that there is no male to compete with and no female to impress? The second one, I caught him yawning... weird. :o

Our friend recently inherited everything from a tank getting broken down. With that, he received this. It has a very thick, hard shell and underneath he looks like a slug. We have no idea and neither does the lfs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

How do I get rid of them? They're all over my zoa rock in my pico. They're ugly and I hate the little feeding web they spit out when I do water changes. I know it's awful but can I glue them shut?

Anyone have any idea what these are? They only come out at night. They won't actually come all the way out of the rock and they're totally clear.

I just received a 2 gallon tank from ups. I bought live sand and a chunk of live rock. I also got water from my 60 gallon to start it off and turned on my filter. Is there anything else I can do to help the cycling process? Also, how long would a tank like this take to cycle? Any help is...

With a new chunk of fiji rock, we found this coral. Its flat and fleshy, with a greyish green and purple color to it. Its also porous with feather duster like edges.

We found it yesterday and it was like half the size. It's tentacles stretch about half an inch long and it has a spiral body. Apperantly it likes to attach itself to the glass.
