Can anyone help me figure out what this is? The fish has had the raised spot for months, but now it looks like something is emerging. Fish is active and eating normally. No signs of sickness at all.

I hope this is just a normal color change type thing. Notice those darker red spots? They aren’t raised and don’t look like sores. I just noticed them. The fish is acting perfectly normal. *I added a closer shot.
