Newborn son loves watching the bannerfish, sits there for ages!

Amazing that even more mushrooms are starting to spawn, that's 5 now from our miraculous survivor!

Had my pride and joy Koran angel for nearly two years, he was soooo tiny when we got him now he has grown to the main fish in the tank and starting to change his colours Was wondering if anyone else is keeping this amazing angel? Such an intelligent fish with loads of character

Finally got my Halides back up and running so I thought I'd update some pics as most recent ones have only had the blue t5's, the tank is soooo bright now!

Ok needing some advice, wanting to upgrade my powerheads, as when I first started out in my smaller tank I bought 2 cheap unheard of powerheads that just don't cut the mustard anymore! It a 5ftx2ftx2ft tank, any suggestions on how powerful they would ideally need to be for optimum flow.

Thank you Koco35 for your kind words and support. Been through many ups and downs, with mistakes made and learned from. The best advice I can give is dedication, been doing this tank for nearly 2 years and EVERY week made a 50 litre water change and changed carbon every 4 weeks without fail...

Ok so we just bought our first piece of coral, it's a tester piece to see if our bannerfish and Koran will leave it be! So far so good!

Here is that coral I was looking at, I think the only problem I would have would be our banner fish nipping at it It's the one on the back wall

He is about 4 1/2 inches now, as big as our bannerfish (minus the banner!) at his tip there has appeared the slightest hint of yellow!!

Also thought I'd take another pic of my pride and joy! He is such a pest loves the attention but hates the camera!

Ok so with our beast of a sailfin tang taken back to our LFS, we decided to go for something that won't grow as nearly as fast or big.....meet our Rusty Angel named.......Rusty (what else!?) Apologise for the mucky picture but had just fed them so food all over the place! Settling in nicely!

Well the tank is plenty big enough it's 550 litres perhaps not to house 3 larger fish (banner Koran AND tang) hense returning the tang, the tank has at least 2 years before its not big enough for the Koran. We just want something vibrant and suitable, we did consider the flame, would love one...

You think so, it's just we are taking our sailfin tang back to our LFS due to rapid growth and aggression to our banner fish. So looking to get a replacement asap

Thanks flyingazel! Our tang is in really good health right now and looks stunning, although is starting to get a bit aggressive towards the banner fish, which could mean me parting with the tang! The tank is doing really well and I'm so glad I've stuck at this as its such a part of our lives...
