I was told to feed enough for them to consume in 15 seconds. I was also taught that if you feed and food reaches the sand bed you are feeding too much. Every other day should be plenty. Note I have only been at this 2 years and have lots more to learn. I am sure the experts will jump in.

As recommended, look into Chemiclean. It will not harm your fish, corals or invertebrates.

PWC should be enough. That's not the case in my tank, but you will only know for sure by testing. I really like the Tech M. If was recommended on this site and so far so good. Funny, my LFS recommended several others above Tech M, but they never worked for me as easily as Tech M.

I followed Tech M's recommendation and it worked exactly as they stated.

Just a guess, but my guess would be insufficient light. I have a bunch of green hairy mushrooms. One of my corals grew so large it blocked their light source for several weeks. They then turned clear, but since I moved them I slowly see their color coming back.

It has been about a month. It changed was originally green and purple; then it immediately turned white when I exposed to it air and my LEDs; then after awhile it turned orange; now it's turning dark brown. I would say it took about 2-4 weeks to turn from white to orange/brown.

I purchased mine from bulk reef supply too. I purchased the 75g then upgraded to the 150g. That 150 smokes. It's shocking how much faster it makes water. BRS is great about talking to you to understand your needs and to help you make a decision.

I did a few large water changes and I think that helped. I still dose, but at the rate I was doing before my LFS told me I needed to increase my dosing.

An update- two of my 3 SPS have rebounded nicely. I can't tell if the birdsnest is coming back or not. Time will tell. Thanks again for the advice.

What do you use for nightime? I really like the color of the dark blues at night, but I wonder if I am taking it too far with the heavy blue throughout the night. Have you seen any guidelines for led lighting?

Oops, previously I stated it was caused by my mushroom. That was a mistake. It's a toadstool that is literally taking over my tank. I have been considering trading him into my LFS, because its so big. I will now definitely look to trade him in.
