I just checked the temp and it is running at 78 almost 79. It was 77 this morning. Our tank came with the fan for the back. There should be a removable grill above the bio/charcoal/return tube area. The fan runs on it's own plug. If I remember correctly the fan is around nine dollars. Not sure...

My husband and I are thinking about leaping into a saltwater system. Right now we are looking at a 29g BioCube or 34g RedSea 130d max system. Any thoughts on these two systems? Or any other possible good choices? We have kept freshwater for many years but have never made the jump to saltwater...

Day 7 Ammonia still around 3ppm N2 .50 N3 20ppm - I tested this one since the nitrites rose and found some nitrates. Do I need to do anything different at this point since the ammonia isn't dropping? Or since the nitrite is higher tonight everything is still on course? :blink:

Day 2 Status the same. Put in a very small amount of crushed food and a couple of plant stems from the 60g tank. Best thing, no dead fish! :)
