    Sump question

    I was wondering what the key is to dialing in a skimmer in a sump. I have a three chamber sump aqua c urchin skimmer in one a refuigm in one and return pump in the other. What am I looking for as far as knowing it's right. Any suggestions would be great

    Ok I got my tank filled with live rock my salinity is good and I just added my sand. My question is should I leave everything off until sand settles. Or should I run my skimmer and pumps. My book says to run my skimmer my LFS said to shut everything down, how did u all go about it

    Was wondering what everyone keeps their specific gravity at My book says 1.021 to 1.023 my hydrometer says for reef it should be 1.024 to 1.026 and my Lps said 1.027 so which is correct? Thanks

    Ow long do u typically have to wait for salt to disolve to take proper reading. I added water yesterday and made mistake of purchasing live rock already. My reading need to be correct before adding Rock I assume. Any advice on this , much appreciated.
