Some worm on my mushroom rock?

I have researched it, and it appears to be a sea cucumber. Are these good or bad for the tank?

Some worm on my mushroom rock?

Help! I just ordered a "15 mushroom" rock from SaltwaterFish, and there seems to be some work on the rock! It's about an inch long, has bumps, and appears to be dead. I can just scrape him off the rock if I wanted to. What should I do?

    Greenturtle's Biocube 29 Build Thread!!!

Got some stuff in the mail from SaltwaterFish today. New Yellow Watchman Goby (it's really small) a fire shrimp (also small) and some extra CUC members. I'm also picking out some mushrooms out of the "random 15 mushrooms for $70" package that my dad got.

    527 gallon reef tank

Wow, and Achilles pair sounds really cool. I would recommend some Midas Blennies, a trio of some sort of dartfish, and some chalk bass.

    527 gallon reef tank

Sounds like a great build! I don't really know the about the equipment though. I would recommend LEDs, but that's just my personal opinion. Do you have any ideas on the stocklist?

I siphoned out all of the Brown Jelly that I could. Here is a picture of the new coral! Red/Green Candy Cane, the green actually looks like neon teal. I'm very happy with it so far.

When I picked up the coral, the jelly went EVERYWHERE in the tank. Ugh, what should I do?

    Greenturtle's Biocube 29 Build Thread!!!

The smaller stalk of my torch coral looks bleached! The lights just went on, which is why I hat saw it. I saw some reddish stuff on it last night, but I didn't think anything of it. In more positive news, I'm acclimating a new coral! It's really big, and I got it for $45 dollars. That probably...

Tim's 29gal Biocube Reef / Angler Fish tank build

One way that I have learned to keep the back chambers quieter is to have a high water level back there. Higher water = less of a drop from each chamber.

My maroon & gold clown will only eat flake food

I would try pellets. They are the only food that ALL of my fish will eat, even my picky longnose hawkfish.

Tim's 29gal Biocube Reef / Angler Fish tank build

I just read the past 18 pages of your thread! Your rockscape looks amazing, and I really like the look of that angler fish. My LFS just sold a leaf fish that they had kept for months, I considered getting a separate tank for it a bunch of times. In my Biocube 29, the only flow I have is a...

    Greenturtle's Biocube 29 Build Thread!!!

I think it's official. My Yellow Watchman Goby in my 29 Gallon died. I haven't seen it in weeks, even during feeding. The clean-up crew must have eaten it before I could find it. My clowns are fighting for dominance (the much smaller one had decided it wants to be female, and has been bullying...

    Greenturtle's Biocube 29 Build Thread!!!

I know this is sort of off-topic, but something that looks really nasty just appeared in my 90 gallon tank. It's pretty big, do you guys have any ideas on what it could be?

Everything arrived fine. The torch "frag" I got is at least two stalks (not complaining!) but the Green Tip Toadstool is a bit on the small side. It still looks gorgeous. The aptasia is gone!!! For the amount of Aptasia X I used on it, there can't be any remnants of an anemone within miles!!!

    Fruit Loop Zoas?

I really wanted a Green Tip Toadstool from liveaquaria, but I would not have bought anything else. It would have been like $75 for a 1-2 inch frag. If you live in VA, atlanticseafarms.net has some really cheap (all are around $15) and colorful frags of zoas. They ship to anywhere in the US...

    Got My wilds!

That is probably one of the best cichlid tanks I have ever seen (I do saltwater mostly)! If I had enough money, I would want to have a cichlid tank just like yours.
