    What do you mean equal across the whole tank? Wasn't it before? Yeah I do like it I have done a bit of research on it and it says the tips go bright pink in high light and co2

    Have you got your plants through yet? Funny enough I have just bought some sagittaria today I really like it, I like java moss but if you ever want to get rid of it its a nightmare lol

    I'm almost 100% sure they won't grow on wood mate Glad u ain't lost anymore plants I have rescaped my tank looks completely different but I love it

    I just have ripples on the surface in a six foot rainbow tank with pressurized co2 and I have had no problems its been set up for about 8 months now so I think that should work

    The only time my rotala or any stem plant grew like that was when they were planted to close together

    Well they can grow upto 12 inches each if not a bit bigger and I got told from a lot of people from my local aquarium, plus stores and research that you can only have upto 10 in a 220 gallon when they are fully grown but I only had 6 I didn't want to over stock

    I used to own some in a 220 gallon but I kind of grew out of the idea I didn't find them interesting after about 2 years but I think everyone wants to own them at one point :)

    Never complain if it has got rid of your algae :) I used to be able spot mine gently graze on it but never anything much or for long so can't comment on that. But like I said if its eating algae that's never a problem haha

    I had a rainbow shark I agree they are beautiful fish but just be careful they can be very aggressive I had to move mine before it killed everything and mine was in a 125 gallon. I went with rainbow fish in the end

    Dwarf gourami's can be very very territorial so I thing it might be him lol

    Yeah its better than no co2 at all but it really ain't any were as good as co2 dysten plus i have heard it causes some types of plants to melt but like you said it will work untill you can get a co2 system :)

    Well a lot of people do use them but you will lose a lot of co2 that's why I don't use them at all but like I said you can use them. I think its down to you really its upto you I just don't see the point in paying good money on your co2 to just chuck it away but if your using DIY co2 its free...

    It will definitely diffuse a lot of co2 I use pressurized co2 and it will release a lot of it.

    I have never used an airstone in my tanks and never will !! They are a waste of time all you need is surface movement from your filter and by this I don't mean huge splashs I mean just your filter causing ripples at the surface

    Looks great my wisteria grows like a weed aswell as my vallis I'm running pressurized co2 on my tank so I have to cut it back almost every week :)

    Lol I wish I could by the sounds of it I could make some money on them :) I understand now when u say wembley I lived camden and wamdsworth nearly all my life so I no about the prices
