I have had the tank up & running for about 2 months now, today I woke up and my water is SOOOOO clear! It hasn't ever been nasty dirty, but it has been somewhat cloudy. It looks so good! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

My tank has been up and running for 9 weeks. After seeing everyones response on my clown puke gravel (idk what the big deal is??) but I am thinking of switching to sand. I like the look of the sand. Can I do that or will I have to go thru the cycle thing again?

I REALLY have fell in love with the cichlids at my sons school. They are so interactive! Can anyone recommend one (or two) that would do well in my tank? Here is what is in my tank: 4 cories 6 mollies 3 guppies Its 37 gallons.

I know, I know...I have clown puke as rocks, lol. Its a little louder than most aquariums that I have seen on here, but my boys love it, and the fishies are thriving, so all is well :oops: It is 37 gallons & homes these fish: 3 silver mollies 3 dalmation mollies 4 fancy guppies 1 cory catfish

Does every tank 'need' one? I have a 37 gallon with 3 silver mollies, 3 dalmation mollies, and 2 fancy guppies. I havent had any issues with algae, but the lady at petsmart said "you are going to need one sooner or later, every tank needs one" :ermm:

Hi all, I am Ashley. I have 4 little human kids, and 6 little finned kids. I am starting to be obsessive over fish & I think I have found my hobby! Currently I have 3 silver Mollies & 2 Guppies in my 37 gallon tank, and my male Beta in a 10 gallon tank. :cool:
