    Betta

to add crowntails in my experience arent the best of swimmers in bettas. I had a double tail that was very quick had no trouble fighting the current. Shouldve raced him lol

    Betta

betas.are too slow to do much harm to the other faster fish. Theyll run circles around him without engaging in fights. Itll be fine if the current isnt too strong and you have some floating plants. I have a male and female in mine and they dont do anything to themselves or my fish.

Yes! I like to feed the colour flakes to bring out colour faster, along with bloodworms and brineshrimp powder. Its all three crushed up to a fine power. I have green cobra guppies mixed with the blue V tail guppies...theyre always the same ones, the blue guppies, they look amazing. Same with...

I know all those fish raise concern and yous are worried about any problems but I dont have any problems and I do what I need for the correct accomodations of my tank and the parameters. Pregnant Guppie

the gourami are fine as long as they arent butting heads and coming back for more every 2 seconds. You would have def noticed something wrong from the moment they were placed in the tank. Mesh baby net, plants hiding places, keep tank at 78 or 80 degrees. Incredibly easy to breed, no trouble at all.

10 gallon, not sure if I overstocked.

this is a 29 gallon high not a 10 gallon like the post says. I keep up water changes and do spot vacuums when needed. My ammonia never gets above .25 which is ok for a steady bb food supply. Tanks been up for a good while and was seeded immediately. Havent lost a fish yet and none appear to be...

    Ammonia question HELP!

detoxing the ammo starves your bb. Just let it go and the bb will handle it. never use amml lock or anything of the sort. It just reverts the cycle again cause it renders the food, ammonia, useless to the bb.

    Breeding guppies

agreed. Im not going industrial here im trying to just get some babies if some fall, well thats nature. And I think im ok with just a ten, ten gallons are under-rated. And I also have a baby net and a 29 gallon tank. After I accumulate more babies im gonna put them in perhaps my 5 for a while or...

    Breeding guppies

This is how the feme-bots look as of today. Its tge best picture I could get of them while their stomachs are full and slow moving. Idk if theyre prego. I had tge male in with them for about a week or more. I feed them every other day freeze dried bloodworms.

    Gravel vac?

id prob not vacuum until its fully cycled. Pwc, yes. Just dont feed as much. Fish are opportunistic feeders, they grab at any chance of food. They are ok with a few days with no food which is better in the beggining then later fully cycled. Do you have ghost shrimp? Theyll help eat left over food.

    Houston, we have baby platys!

    haha nice. Theyre awsome.

    Gravel vac?

I think if you get the majority of the tank, what is left behind will be ok and can be enough for you bacteria to feed off of, saying its not more area than what your vacuuming.

Adding more fish to a 20 gallon?

I think you should go with the pandas. Theyll be fine together, your not that over stocked. Ive got that many fish in my 10 gallon. And more at some point. Add some guppies in there, like 2 really colourful males and a platy. Youll be at a decent stock.
