Got myself some driftwood pieces today, which will be soaked for a few days, and will get some plants on Friday as I'm on nights this week. The cycle has started , ammo is dropping so should hopefully see some nitrates soon :)

Yes, i have 2cm depth of plant substrate with 2cm+ of sand, as instructed on the tub of the plant substrate and on the advice of others on here :) Its a Juwel Lido so am using the standard filter setup in that.

I have CPDs and shrimp in my 6gal. Note that they are a shy species and if your tank is in an area of traffic they probably will hide a fair amount, sometimes my tank seems empty lol
