    U will eventually see algae because of the sun light, just don't let it take control of your tank or it will become a nightmare.

    And remember to have compatible fishes in there too not like my brother ( he had a bunch of small clownfishes and small fireshrimps and then he bought a lionfish!) He lost a lot of money lol

    Just make sure you do a 20% water change after 48 hrs, I used chemiclean 4 days ago and now my tank looks super clean

    I tried chemiclean and 24 hrs later 80% of it has been removed, I do need to change 20% of the water today according to the lfs and the instructions on the product lol let's see what happens!

    I have 20 lbs of live rock in another tank and I'm just going to get rid of the eel and transfer those rocks over to this 55g tank. I also want to to get a canopy before I start my addition of fishes

    Oh ok I did not know that. I really don't want to go tru that again I felt like a loser lol. Would it be better if I have my live rock in the middle of the tank to try to avoid dead spots?

    What if I locate 1 powerhead almost at the bottom of the tank kind of flowing upwards? Would that kind of elevate the levels again or would that help?

    I did cycle the tank. It probably was the ammonia who know but I don't want to buy any more fishes until I get the canopy just to make sure its not that
