I don't have dirt either, wish I would of done it as it's way cheaper. Adding dirt to a tank with water is a bad idea though. Capping the dirt keeps the dirt in place.

I've had the fish stocking for about three months now. The angels get along for the most part. When the two are breeding is a whole different story.

I'm getting those Odyssea lights soon too, right now I'm only using my 2 18" 15w GE 9325k. My wisteria has started to grow like mad on the top half from switching to Floramax (same thing as eco-complete but no bio water) but the lower half keeps dying because my lights aren't strong enough.

If you add some GBRs I'd watch your ghost shrimp! I only have two ~1in and they ate my ghost shrimp that were about as big as them.

I know one thing, I'll miss the look of my GE 9325k's. I might order the 4pk replacement bulbs with one 10k, 2 6500k, and the pink freshwater bulb.

I never said they did. I think 2wpg with t5ho is plenty on my 55g, so the third bulb being actinic us perfect sand not to mention the built in timer is to hard to pass up.

Do you think I should buy this light from another seller with the 2x10k bulbs and 1 actinic? I had planned on getting an actinic bulb for the 6500k version too. I just don't like yellow light but want my plants to grow.

Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't you not deeply clean gravel in a planted tank?

Right now in my 55g I'm rocking some crypts, anacharis, wisteria, jungle val, corkscrew val, anubius nana, and a queen marble sword. All these are under only 2 15w 18" T8 bulbs. The anacharis and wisteria seem to grow pretty fast, the different val coming in close behind.

I bought it at a lfs and couldn't read the name on the glass (the sword? not the Anacharis).
