    Sorry for the wait, but you may be going down the wrong path. Africans like high ph, hardness and alkalinity. If your hardness is at 100-150 that is to low. I keep them at 240 +, and they do great with fantastic colors. Water pillow is not needed.

    So if I were you this is what I would do. Take out 55 gallons of water from your 150. Take all the water( if the gravel matches add it to) from the 55. Add that to you 150, with your fish( stir up the water in your 55, so that it looks dirty use that water). All the muck and gunk, contains...

    Micro vert is a liquid food for s/w corals and filter feeders( again I'm not 100% sure) but you should add aquarium salt. 1 tbs. Per 10 gallons. You also have and eel in your tank? I'm I right that it is a 10 gallon tank?

    I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe you have a brackish water fish. Also I think it is a filter feeder( I could be wrong ) but you may need to add salt to your tank.     Sorry, for your loss. You might want to look into a quartine tank, If you are into the hobby. Even if you trust your retailer, a 30-40gallon quartine tank is worth it.

    Also if you do a 50-75 gal, with brackish water. You could add scat's and mono,s with the sharks.

    With the silver tips, they are a true brackish water fish. If you add salt to the tank, the colors will shine thur.
