Hey everyone. I bought a top crown snail today that has barnacles on it's shell. I'm curious if that was a poor decision or not, and didn't think about the possibility of having them spread. Should I be concerned and if so, should I glue them shut like vermitid snails?

Calcium, strontium, magnesium, a buffer, an amino vitamin supplement and weekly 15 percent water changes.

I cut down the amount of air by turning it counter. It's a trial and error kind of thing that took some fine tuning, but so far it seems to have worked.

I know, right? The nodes are growing way faster than I anticipated. Pretty exciting stuff.

Update: you guys are right. In less than a week i have at least 25 new branches forming. Pretty bad ***!

Update: I've found that adjusting the air intake on the tube leading to the skimmer pump works in reducing the bubbles.

Thanks for the ideas guys, but since this plug and play tank was my first, I have little to no idea what you are saying.. Should I add tubing to the pump that feeds into the protein skimmer?

I can't seem to keep my stock Red Sea Max 130D protein skimmer from filling my tank with microbubbles. Has anyone that has one of these dealt with a similar issue?
