I was wondering if there was a technique to keeping a bubble tip bubbly... I don't like the stringy look! I see others and there's are always bubbly and I want mine like that.
My clowns has been together over a year just fine... Until recently, I moved a colony of zoas that they were hosting and now one clown is beating up the other. Even a damsel is beating on the clown as well. What's the deal?!
My numbers are there, I go by color tho... My shrimp has molted a few times and my snails are still in the shell just upside down and when I turn them over they stay in the same spot until I finally remove it.
Don't know the exact numbers but nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia are all good. Never got tested for calcium and alkalinity and whatever else... Does snails need those at a certain as well? My shrimp and hermits are still active.
My water is all good except my PH is Low (8.0), all my fish are active and fine but my snails keep dying... Why?!!
I did notice that my hinges is rusted and was leaking into my tank (problem fixed)... Could that have been the cause?
My PH is at 7.9 and I think that it's suppose to be around 8.2. Is this too low and if so, is there a natural way to bring it up? I'm trying to keep it low upkeep as possible. I have a 40 breeder reef with a 20 high sump.
