It depends on the personality of the betta when I had my 55 gal I had a pair of gbr and one electric blue ram with a male and three females betta's and the preferred the company of the rams then to the other betta's so in my opinion it's a game of chance because at times betta's can be a bully...
Thats the same distance i have to face for saltwater fish so i will as that my break as breaks to keep me from going over board like how i did before when i first started freshwater
Yea i no its very expensive :( thats kind of what turned me away from it years ago but at that time but im willing to make this a slow project since most of the lfs around where i live dont really sell saltwater fish only the equipment so will help with me going fish crazy lol
I have had fresh water fish for years and always wanted to try saltwater fish but was kind worried bout keep them since i heard that they were difficult to keep but i figured i would put my fears aside and give it a try and since i have a extra tank i cant get rid of that also gives me a excuse...
Idk if you still need the info its called kordon ich attack it worked on my tank it didnt kill my plant or shrimps if you can find it this stuffed really helped me out
Sorry about your betta there is medication that you can use that is plant safe cant think of the name off hand i found it fumbling around around my local lfs when i had a out break sorry im not home right now but ill post up the info when i get home and good luck in your battle
U can run one I have a fluval 405 on my 75 gal I'm going to just upgrade to the 406 since they say its stronger well that's what they say at the lfs where I live
Like Bruinsbro said it depends on the fish I have three rams living in the same tank as my bettas one male two female betta and they get along just fine I have one Bolivian ram and two balloon German blue rams and the male is always playing with the rams so it really depends on the personality...
Hi the Betta you have is a male and you can have him in a tank with guppies my Betts does just fine with mine and sorry to hear he's not eating he's probably still in shock from the transport I had that same problem with my betta he wouldn't eat ether he would just nibble off what the other fish...
