Your sand-bed looks like you may have cyano as well. That is a crazy amount of flow to still have detritus buildup. The reason I went with the mp10 is so I wouldn't have the power cords and just an overall cleaner look.

Yea I figured you had it covered. My first mp10 developed clicking noise coming from the motor side about a month after I started running it. I couldn't get it to stop. I called ecotech and their customer service was great. They sent out a new one with a return shipping label for my old one...

Tim, just a quick tip regarding your mp10. I turned the power to the max setting and adjusted the wet side until I had no vibration and the least bit of sound. Hopefully this makes sense to you. It definitely worked for me, but maybe yours is already dialed in. Key is to have the setting on max

Tim, looks good. A lot more cleaner look than the fluorescents. How does the brightness compare in your opinion. Hard to tell without a side by side comparison. When you get a chance maybe you could do something like that. I'm glad you got it.
