ok crazy idea, may be the algae can retain some of these meds??? so when they ate them after i got them back to the tank they get sick or "irritated" again???

Well the melafix/primafix was 2 weeks ago. Since then I did water changes...so I dont think there is much if the meds remainig. But still the snails are very lethargic, and the guy floating still floating with the same plant stem obviuosly he is feeding on...I think. And I did get them out of...

ok so th egood thing u can do is to keep a little spponge filter in yr well established "disease free" aquarium, and just put it there in the bare bottomed tank. Still doing water changes is important, may be of course the frequency would e less in a cycled aquarium, but its is important becasue...

Well in a planted and sand aquarium like yours its almost impossible to easily spot fries when they are swimming freely. Besides, betta fries dont do.much swimming im their early dayes after they are free swimming. The next issue you wil face that the they wont xfind the food u give them easily...

The other problem with the BGK is that if yr guppies and tetras didnt fit in their mouthes, they still would attack them at night. They notoriously attack the eyes. So, if u want to keep them with guppies; prepare yr self for one eyed fishes

Well i disagree about female bettas. If there are in a big aquarium they will be of no problem to others or for eachothers. And am talking from a large experience with bettas and angels kept together in a mediun sized.aquarium of 50 gallon

Hello everybody, am an "ensthusiastic" freshwater aquarist, especially fond of bettas and angels; keeping and breeding. Happy to have joined yr forum, hope to help others, and to get help when in need.

In my "old" pat experience with CAE, that they will bug the weak fish. e.g. sick fish, or getting sick. They wont go near bullies. So if u r not willing to it attached with its sucker on the side of yr "about" to die fish, get rid of it
