    Looking to get into coral

    Hi I am looking to get into coral I have a 55 gal with live rock. Lighting consists of 2 cf 65 w ho fluorescent 12000k daylight and 2 65w blue actinic bulbs and 4 moon light LEDs. I don't know the first thing about coral as this is my first reef tank. I would like info on nice sturdy coral...

    Live rock has color

    My live rock has developed tiny purple areas over it. It looks kinda nice but wanna make sure it's not gonna be a problem. Also has tiny pointy things coming out of holes in the rock they kinda look like part of a pincher of a crabs claw. Any advise is great.

    New to site

    Hi been reading on here for a while and decided to join. I'm fairly new to the salt water and thought it can't hurt. I have a 55 gal tank with 2 clown 1 juvenile emperor angel 1 yellow tang and 1 blue hippo tang. Looking to add coral soon.
