One of my tanks has ich. Neither of my others have sign of it. I normally use the same bucket and hose to do gravel fav. I'm afraid to contaminate all my tanks if I do. If I rinse with vinegar the bucket and hose, will that prevent transfering it?

A male and female paradise gourami. I bought one thinking it was a male... But after this long and not getting more color. It's a female. So if I were to seek out a male... Would they be ok together? I wouldn't try to breed them but I figure is ask if that would work.

:) I'm so happy, went to lfs this morning and found this guy. He had really nice coloring and acting very healthy. Trip home was very stressful cause he's soooo pale now. The second she netted him he lost his coloring. I acclimated him and he's still ghostly. He's moving around well, seems happy...

My Tetras have ick... Pretty bad... I've been treating with tablets but this morning I've noticed that their fins are all torn up or missing. Now one is barely alive floating. So I did a 50% water change then added in salt. I've had my water temp turned up. My other fish are completely fine. But...

So I discovered ich in my tank yesterday night. I went and got some tablets to treat, and I'm slowly going to increase temps to kill this stuff. Tablets aren't safe for my Gary. What on earth do I do with him for the next five days of the meds so as to not kill him?

Last night I decided on these Orange von Rio Tetras or flaming Tetras. They are pretty sweet :) I got 6 of them and their color has greatly improved from even in the store. :)
