Im looking into getting a canister filter and am just looking at the marineland c 360 or fluval 305. Just wondering if any one has some information. I here the 360 has leaking problems and the 305 looks easier with maintenance so I'm leaning towards the 305. Any help? It's for a 45 gallon...

Why is my water cloudy?

I'm gonna try experimenting with fertilizers. Getting liquid would be easier for me, or do you think I should just get dry fertilizers from the start and save money. If dry, how do you dose and what are the best micros and macros. -thanks

Plant life question If I wanted to have a medium planted aquarium, would I need to invest in a co2 system? If so does it need to be pressurized? I just placed an order for a drop checker to see what my co2 levels are looking like. Any help and any information about this situation would be awesome.

Think my heater is broken. I have it on the lowest possible setting and the water is at 86... Yikes. In the booklet it comes with it says having the control knob in the middle should be 78 degrees, give or take a notch. But mine is at the lowest setting and still always on. Any ideas?
