Started our first trial run at a 3D Background yesterday. This one will be for our 10g fry nursery. If it works out well we'll be moving on to one of our 55g next. Here's a pic of the artist at work. I think the mess it made was the best part for her!

I've been reading alot about hatching baby brine lately. Is this 100% necessary for successfully raising ebjd fry? Could this be the reason I have not been able to identify EBJD from BGJD in previous spawns. Simply cause the EBJD's did not survive? I currently have a batch of 200 or so that...

One of my fry grow-out tanks has been over-run with little snails. How do I get rid of them? Are there fish that eat them? Or should I just completely re-do the tank with fresh gravel and the whole deal?
