    Yes my tank is reef ready. It is pre-drilled and has an internal overflow.

    Thanks. That info helps. The tank will be reef ready soon. The sump is about 40" long, 20" wide and 18" high. About 60 gallons.

    Will do. Another question, for a 120 gallon tank, what size pump, and skimmer should I look for? I've read that your water should cycle every hour. Is that right? There will be about 4' of head and probably 1 elbow.

    Thanks for the help. I just found out the sump I ordered is another 4 weeks away so it doesn't look like I'll be getting started anytime soon. Maybe in the meantime I can shop around for my equipment online.

    Hi, I am new to the forum and new to salt water tanks. I have had many freshwater tanks but decided it was time to move up. I'm looking for advice as to the steps to take to get my tank ready. I intend to have a reef setup.
