How long after cleaning HOB filter weekly and water changes will it take to bring nitrates down ? The snails die bc of my 6 line wrasse attacks them sometimes and my Pink diamond goby eats small nass snails. He's a nut!! The big nass nails have been fine.

So I've had a pink dotted goby for a while now and just got some small Nassarius snails today and the goby is eating them shell and all. Anybody know how long its going to take to dissolve them in his belly? He's never done this before or if he has I never noticed it.

True, well I meant the inverts that eat poop and excess for ( which is rare in my aquarium bc my fish are like Americans at Mcdonalds) are kinda necessary lol. Some are just easy on the eyes. I've bought Shaving brushes once to help lower nitrates but something ate them. :/
