Here is an update of my rock.

Here is the after. All the wood and hard work going together at last. The new home for my fish tank.

New picks. Update!!! I was wood working last week.

I just got a new better pump to bring the water up from the sump. A mag 7. Cant wait to get it all working.

That is one sick looking stand. Great job!!! I wish i was that wood handy.

I love that forum. They are all super friendly and helpfull. I eaven got a pump from one of them because my pump did not cut it. Its like a club with monthly meetings and since its local people are constantly selling or trading frags and great prices.

I have been busy so no updates untill today. I made room in the base to acompdate my sump. Next i will close it all up with doors and make it look good.

You make your mold in the sand. A little wet. I used a rock to make diferent shapes. Then spred some lose sand over the mold to add texture. Then filed the molds little by little by hand. The mix has to be just wet enough to mix. (As dry as posible) almost looks like mud.

My 2 Royal Gammas eat anything i put in the tank. I feed them flakes everyday and frozen brine shrimp once a week. They eat both but they dont go for the brine shrimp as fast as they attack the flakes.

I change my water in the morning before going to work. When i get back from work and before i go to bed. My ph was stable in just over 2 weeks.

Yes plain water first. To get rid of the ph and salt in the rock.

I have been reading about this for months looking for info online. And no where dose it say that would happen. If you soak the rocks right and check your ph levels and wait till they stabilize you will be fine.
