You can always adjust the angle of the spraybar if you have too much flow. Point it more toward the surface or something so it's not shooting straight across the length of the tank

It says 264 gph but I really do to think its that much. Especially if you cram it full of media. I think it's perfect in my 20Long. And like brookster said. You can drill out the holes in the spray bar or even add a few holes to reduce flow if it's too much for your liking.

I just got the sunsun 302 for under $50 off amazon. And it would have been even cheaper but I chose the option of getting it with all the filter media. I love this filter. As quiet as they get and is keeping my tank crystal clear.

This is exactly why I asked. Seems like having them on opposite sides of the tank you would be shooting your water straight back to the filter intake creating a large under circulated space under the spray bar
