Could anyone please tell me what these are and how to get rid of them? There about 1-2mm, only really stay on the substrate they remind me of maggots! The tank is a dirted planted shrimp tank so don't really want to take the whole lot down because of these little critters! Atb mike

Hey all! I recently dirted my planted 30g long replaced the sand with good soil and capped with 3mm gravel. This setup has been running for 2 weeks now and I'm amazed with the growth from all the plants. Here's two pics, 1st Day 1 2nd Day 14 What do you all think? Atb mike
