    ceriths activities?

    I have quite a few ceriths in my reef tank, and find it curious that a number of them cling to the glass where one of my pumps flow hits the glass. Any thought on this? Here is a pic or two.

    annemone question

    Thanks Carey, I just took a pencil eraser and poked at it. It just grabbed it with some of the tentacles which folded into the center but it did not collapse. I also have an aptasia that I haven't killed yet so gave it the same treatment. It completely retracted and disappeared back it the rock.

    Thanks for the info guys, I guess time will tell if it is light deprived. My pic doesn't give you much reference for size, but the green ring is between nickle and quarter size.

    I have had a few aptsia but the green at the base of the tentacles looks different. The other annemonie that was on the rock left it entirely and went to the glass of the tank.

    Hello, New Member Here!

    I am a 40+ year vetran of the freshwater aquarium hobby, but a relative newcomer to the reef hobby. We raise angle fish and corydoras cats on a small scale, also various livebearers.
