Yeah, I have this set up for months now. I'm not "correcting" anything, so thanks anyway.

Tank specs: 20g high Filters: Top Fin 20 & Aqueon QuietFlow 10 Fish: 5 female bettas 6 Albino corydoras Am I stocked? If I add neon tetras, 5 would probably be my limit. Is 5 too small a school? I was also considering a snail or 2. Any other fish suggestions?

3-21 Results Today doesn't look much different than yesterday. pH:7.6 Ammo: .50 Nitrites: 5+ Nitrates: 38? It's hard to get a good photo of it. I did add a pinch of fish food last week, and along with the betta feces the day before. I think that's why the ammo hasn't gone down to zero...

Well, I did a huge water change today. My pH is staying perfect! My nitrates are rising higher, but the nitrites are crazy. As soon as the test drops hit the bottom of the tube, turns a dark fuschia. From what many people have told me, you don't want the ammonia over 5ppm, even 4. When it starts dropping quickly, and turning into nitrites, you want to keep the dosage at 2ppm. You will have to dose everyday when it starts doing that. I'm in that situation myself.

Mine has just started getting cloudy as well. I had added some aragonite, to help stabilize the pH..but that was about a week ago. Mine's a 20 gal. as well. If you can, post a photo.
