One more thing I was told from the shop that sold me skimmer there is a tube coming off the bottom of the collection cup. I asked what do I do with tube and shop keeper said just hang it in tank but that dose not sound right as would that not contaminate my aquarium with what ever is collected...

If I close the air intake tube the water will rise but as soon as I open it to let some air in the level drops a bit. If I close up red knobs the level gose down more. Am I doing something else wrong ?

The two red knobs which I think r for adjusting out flow r open fully. The air intake tube is open and is getting lots of air.

Yes its the same as your one and I have one like ur mushrooms but its brown. I posted pic of it today n I asked name of it n people said mushroom. Thanks for clearing that up.

As I'm new to this game is this normal ? I put a mushroom coral in my tank yesterday n it has been in full bloom till 5 mis ago. The light is still on and it has just closed down all if a sudden.

Would u say I need some form of uv light maybe fit one to external filter ?

Something else u may be able to help with ? I have a boyu submersible filter with built in uv light in tank + a external aqua one cf-1000 filter. Is this a good thing ?

Hi I got a nice regal tang yesterday n it comes out now n then but most of the time its hiding in live rock. Is this normal for a tang ? Cheers

Hi everyone I'm to all this and I have a 180L juwel aquarium I have 2 common clowns 1 regal tang 2 cleaner shrimp 4 small hermit crabs. I got my first coral yesterday but I now have forgotten the name of it. Can someone tell me ? Cheers
