One more question actually.. I took the carbon out of the filter before adding the salt, is that nessesary if hea definitely not got ich and its purely water cindition related?

Yeah I thought they were bigger. The ones we found were only about 1cm but they never done anyharm. I think he looks nice... Lovely shell haha. Maybe he'll grow on you.. You never know

How about some mountain minnows. My friend just got some in her 8gallon I didnt think they'd be too great but rhey look lovely

I had them before... polop.. They glowing under the moon bulb? I had a tiny yellow box fish and it swam past these polops and one head closed on the fishes face. It dies the next day.. Insane

I know what you mean. Ours always popped there heads out of the rock and ran back in. possibly our fish scared them off.. What fish if any you got in your reef?

Aw back in the day when I had a reef. So excited to buy new rocks.and get exciteing little freebies. I got loads of whelks but they were very small, your looks quite big. Mines never done my reef any harm, but as I said mines were much smaller I think.

I know haha it takin me a while to get used to the us and uk difference I mean 12 - 15 gallons approx Sorry. I used half a teaspoon disolved in the tank water as suggested earlier. It was deionised aquarium salt for the pet shop. It what the guy told me in the shop.

So I was reading through some threads and kept hearing about a betta fish, and I thought I knew my fish but I couldnt think what a betta, I seen some picture which looked like the siamese fighter? Is this british and american confusion? Ive never heard a fighter called a betta before. ???
