I need to replace the starter on my light strip the 1 i removed says FS-22H.....this is the link to the ones i found Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Perfecto Replacement Fluorescent Starters not sure which 1 to replace it with...am thinking it will be the FS-2

i get light form 2 different windows and bloking them would greatly reduce light into my living room and also gets light from skylight....when the tank was a community tank i never had any algea in it with a pleco....i will increase my water changes will prob move them up to 30% considering it...

tank does get direct sunlight but do not really have another place for it....its just a common green algae i know a pleco will clean it but wasnt sure if they would scuffel....have a common pleco in a 20gal right now about move him to a 55gal i just set up and see if i can get a growth spurt out...

have bought fish from wal mart in my town many times but only because the nearst aquatic store is 45 miles away. wal mart has horriable conditions for the fish at my local store. usually buy the fish out of pity for them and to give them a fighting chance. thats just my experience with them

just wondering what i can keep in an oscar tank that they wont kill and will keep the algae down. have thought about gold mystery snails but not sure if oscar will eat them

would be more than happy to do commercial set up would also offer to set up for people buying tanks or if they purchased else where setting up for a small fee....i think a good selection of bettas is a good idea may also get into breeding and maybe online sales with them

its not a bad alge problem...just starting on the glass....tank gets some direct sunlight so i think this may be a big factor

ok ill look into it because im curious now about this behaviour....was worried about stress at first but she never acted ill or different in anyway so never thought much about it.....i do have a piece of flat slate in there....would i be able to see the eggs if she lays them?

that is a beautiful tank zagz.....healthy looking cats to....my older cat (scooter) drinks from the tanks but the fish seem to realize the threat and go deep accept for the pleco i lost, so im not to worried to much about the drinking
