That's funny! I have a golden head sleeper goby and he just sifts the excess fish food off the sand. He's pretty plump!

Maybe it's the chaeto algae in my refugium- nitrates are at zero

Have a nanocube 28 gal- everything is doing great. W/c's done, cuc- doing great & alive, gold head goby- sifting every grain, gold & yellow mar clown- she's doing well and didn't kill her mate when I introduced him, fire shrimp- doing good when I see him, crabs- crabby and still alive, brittle...

How's the water movement on surface? Do you have a skimmer? The more water mixes with air- ph goes up. Skimmer mixes water with the air and removes proteins. I'm a noob so this is stuff I've read- let us know what happens

Get so sort of sand sifter cause 40lbs of sand in 29 gal seems like a bit much. I put 30lbs of sand in my 28 and it seemed like too much but my gold head goby is doing a fantastic job of sifting the samd

So far no blood. They seem to get along great- to the point where she protects him from the goby

My friend has a 12 gal tank that now has red slime. I told him to change 10% WC every 4-6 days- he hasn't. Now he has red slime on most of the LR. How can he get rid of it- besides the obvious WC.
