I I retro'd my Aqueon columns hood for my new ecoxitic LEDs and I have no room for a fan. Think it will be ok?

K I need a help here. I am doing a rebuild on my Aqueon columns hood. I am installing ecoxitic panorama pro and 2 stunner strips. I took out the T5 that was built in but what do I do with the switch? Should I just cut the wires? I'd hate to have a hole on the top of the hood.

So my mushroom is self splitting few days now and it's all over the place. Is it normal to travel this much while splitting??

It's left my lfs and noticed they are selling sand crabs. Any one have any experience with them? I thought they would need tides or waves coming in and out??? They were super cool and would be great for sand sifting, but not sure about them....

Had to cave today and trim back my jungle Val. I trimmed back most of the leaves ( which were 6 plus feet long ). My question is.... Should I add a bit extra feet to the tank? I hope I didn't screw them up. I trimmed them Dow to about 3 feet.
