Live rock. Fill the area with live rock and if you can get an area in there and add macro algae. Both work like a charm.

    Beginner corals for 75 gallon

Definitely wait a couple of months. Monitor the parameters during that time. Mushrooms are probably the easiest. Take it slow and she will grow.

    Protein skimmer

Take the crushed coral out. There might be some sort of egg crate sheet underneath the bio balls to hold it off the bottom or not. We would need to see a pic of the entire sump. If you are making the tank a reef, I would ditch the balls. Use them if you are doing a fish only. As for cleaning...

    Frog spawn location?

The picture is where I first placed it, seemed happy for a couple of months and is not so happy now.

    Frog spawn location?

Any thoughts on location for frog spawn? What about current? This seems to be the only piece of coral in my tank that is not happy.

    Newbie coral start up.

I would have to agree with ARick, mushrooms and zoa's are the easiest. I seem to have gotten lucky with zenias to. Lucky enough to finally take in several rocks to the pet store and trade out for different corals.

    Protein skimmer

You should be able to look up the skimmer online and get the specs. Go with the recommended. I have a 75 gallon and I use 8 T5's. Have several types of corals, anemones and all are doing good. Is your sump a Refugium or just regular sump?

    Red bubble tip anemone splitting?

Parameters are awesome. Everything else is growing like crazy. The other one that split is looking awesome. It really seems like it has to do with that green bubble tip moving around.

    Red bubble tip anemone splitting?

My 2nd rbta is getting ready to split. I can see the mouth enlarged and what looks like a hole where there is two edges coming together. Is it possible for both of them to split within the same week?

    Candy cane coral

I did frag these pieces. I also traded some of the green candy canes for the brown and green ones (not sure what those are called). Will they grow just like the green ones?

    Red bubble tip anemone splitting?

The two red tips in front were one this morning. They look good but I noticed they are moving away from the green tip.
