Hey guys. I was wondering what type of media you are using in your canister filters for saltwater. I have a Fluval 404 that i acquired and am thinking about changing the media. any suggestions on what i should have?

so how can i get the green and other softer colors? i prefer those

ive sen mostly rocks covered in purple. but what about the velvet reds and greens ive seen. do those work and spread in the same way? also ive noticed some of my purple is very hard and smooth and some of it with a more algae texture. whats the difference?
