Ordered a small cuc from my local store. This guy was included as a mithrax/emerald crab. True or no? I've never seen one this big or this color. Kinda a tan and pink splotchy color. About 50cent piece size.

This tank will probably be upgraded into a 90 gallon in a few months, so this is more temporary. I already have the tank up and full of water, just going super slow at it. Once I'm done with rock work, I'll be ordering new lights.

So I ordered the light. I figure for $60 if it's no good, I won't be out much and my husband can use it for something lol. A few things I noticed is 1- it only has one power cord, lights are either all on, or all off. 2- no dimmer knob. Reviews say it's lighting power is about equal to a radion...

Husband went in today to look some more and said it was firmly attached to the rock work at the store, so they didn't want to sell until it had loosened on it own.... no anemone for him now lol.... he is trying his best to find the last fish to add to the tank that will fit in good... so far no...

So apparently it didn't melt.... today my frogspawn is bigger than I've ever seen it, and the anthelia is doing fine.... don't know what happened, but I guess it fixed itself.... did a water change today though for good measure

Just looked over at my tank and noticed my frogspawn was 100% closed up. It never does that- not even at night.... so I walk over and see a peppermint shrimp just picking away at it!!! Is it trying to eat the frogspawn? Also it is 100% a peppermint.... it is not a camelback. I chased it away and...

Those aren't actually part of the frogspawn. That is an old dead coral that my husband thought was cool looking lol. The frogspawn is just kinda wedged between the cracks of the old coral skeleton. Frogspawn has ZERO skeleton showing , but does kinda look like it is trying to form 2 heads...

Got this frogspawn like 2 weeks ago. It was big in the store. It opens up in my tank, but not as big as it was in the store. Closes at night and reopens during the day. No skeleton showing. Tank water is tested at local reef store, so I don't know exact perimeters, but they told me all looks great!

What type of clown is the dark one on the bottom? Got him as an "adoption" at a local store. (Someone had dropped it off). He is dark on top, and orange on bottom.

My soft corals (anthelia, yellow polyps, and Kenya tree) look fine. My torch won't open all the way and looks pretty sad.... I moved it yesterday lower in the tank, so gonna see how today goes.....
