I have a 20 gallon tank which actually amounts to around 17 gallons of water with the decorations. when I do a partial water change say 3 gallons should i only add enough seachem prime for the 3 gallons or for the full amount of water 17 gallons. Thanks.

a 5 gallon is pretty small once you add all the decorations. I'd say either a male betta or couple platys.

I am new to the forum and thought I'd say hi. I posted a picture of my 20 gallon setup in the freshwater showcase forum. I am cycling it with 4 zebra danios to start. after the tank gets cycled anyone have any recommendations for what other fish go good with zebra danios?

I should note I used seachem prime to condition the tap water and let it run for 3 days before adding the zebra danios. There's a volcano bubbler to aerate the water. The filter is a marineland 150 biowheel good for up to a 30 gallon tank.
