I bought a 180g that was used for SW. I changed it to a FW. I have all the equipment from the SW and want to sell it but don't know anything about it and how much. There's a reactor, CO2 with valves and a protein skimmer. Any ideas? Thanks
We built a top for our 180g freshwater tank. It sits on the tank and is about 8" tall. I painted the inside with a white acrylic semi gloss paint made for moisture. Now it's full of mold just from humidity.
Is there something else I could use for this problem? It's getting really bad.
I've got a skimmer & pump, reactor and a carbon tank that I have no clue what the model is. I know the skimmer is euro reef but no model #. Can anyone help me out with this. It was in a 180g aquarium.
Is there a way you can buy just the fixture so that I can mount it underneath the canopy I currently have? I made it at home, but it's about 6" in height
You may want to try "prime". It detoxifies nitrates, nitrites and ammonia. I'm not too sure if you want to do this during a cycle, someone might have more advise on this, but at least it will drop your ammonia.
What if I used the LED's but also use my old lamp from the 55g aquarium? Could I just put a bulb in for plant growth? I'm not sure this would be enough though.
I recently moved from a 55g to a 180g aquarium and now I need more plants. But the lighting I have is LED's in the new tank. Will my plants grow and do well? If so which plants would be good
Yes I did. Then I shut it off to make sure if the power goes out that It doesn't flood. Lol. That was my biggest concern. I read all the stories! I have one side flowing faster since the Bala sharks like currents. The other is slightly lower.
That would be so nice having a sink right close by...
It's too late to paint the back. I didn't even think of that. I do graphics so maybe ill just get a piece of flat black vinyl and use double sided tape on the corners. Darn:\
I like all your plants. What would you recommend for something fast growing and full? I know it will take time to look...
