Clear thin thing coming out of my Platy

All other fish seem normal but my tiniest orange Platy has a thin clear thing coming out of him. He is eating and swimming normally. It is coming out his Bumm, it doesn't move and is larger than a hair though, like the size of thick fishing line. I will keep an eye on him and try to take a pic later

    Aquarium stand shifted

I have a stand that I purchased from Petsmart and put together myself. I have recently noticed one vertcal side board has shifted down probably 1/8 inch or so. The stand seems quite secure other than this. It is unmovable actually, given that it is a 90 gallon tank. My question is, should I...

    *More than one tank*

Currently have a 40g and was wanting to go bigger. My question is- should I get another 40 or just upgrade to a 75? I am using all supplies from first tank so going bigger will save money. Not sure on two tanks though. Would live input from people that have multiple tanks.
