That is the bad thing about a 55 reef it limits me on the fish. It seems if there reef safe then my tank is to small

My new piece just got today.

A good starter is polyps. My first was yellow polyps and very easy.

You need about 5 watts per gallon of light. If your like me money is the prob check out the (best choice products aquarium light) on eBay. Well with it. That's what I have and I'm growing glove and colt coral. Yellow, button, and green star polyps.

Thank that is exactly what I read on another thread but never could find pics. I think this is the way I will try it.

I anyone have any good ways of fragging colt coral.

I really don't know if I have been lucky or if it just work but no probs so far. Just filters and the only thing I have added was natural nitrate reducer by instant ocean. But that was before the protein skimmer.

Any suggestions on a good colorful coral or polyps that would look good in my tank.

I never have I rinse them out bout every other water change

Yes only the hob and skimmer. It seem to be doing the job right know. Been doing a 5% water change about every 3 weeks. I didn't know that tomato were aggressive. May have to do something about that.
