So, in regards to my testing kit, do I only need to use the high ph range test if the normal ph range says 7.6? How will I know which is the right ph?

Yes she does but according to her family they have filtered purified water and I wouldn't be getting her for at least a few more months

I'm just happier that it's not in the 8+ range. My main concern about all of this is that I may be taking in my friends fish since she will be moving and I didn't wanna kill them. I could just leave them in their original tank but I'm seriously running out of room because I have so many tanks!!! Lol

Ok so I redid the ph testing and it came out to about 7.8. Thank you I'll be sure to check on that driftwood!!

I just bought the API master test kit and my ph reading came out to 7.6...I'm much more satisfied with this kit rather than strip kits!!!

I really wanna get driftwood but idk if it's real and I'm talking about the driftwood decor you find in the decor aisle at petco or petsmart. I have used proper ph before but I didn't not last for the long term

I tried adding one once and it made my water all wavy and not calm like normal. I think I got the wrong type of air bubbler machine. But I really wanna try again so I think I might!!

I have some platies and tetras. When I took to get my water tested at petco they basically said my ph reading was one that's not found on a chart.

i have a 90 gallon freshwater tank, all my water parameters are good. My main problem is that my ph is like off the chart basic and my water is very hard. what can i do to lower the ph into the about 7-ish range? Thanks for the help!!

Hey y'all! I'm new to this site. I currently have a 10 gallon tank with guppies and plates, and I'm looking to move up to a 20-29 gallon tank. I'm thinking about getting a hexagon shaped tank or a rectangular shaped one. Any suggestions on what is better? Any stocking suggestions also? Thank y'all!!
