Well I've got what I believe to be a largemouth right now (he was mixed in with a load of minnows I bought for bullhead food). He's still about an inch long, I've only had him for a week but I'm pretty sure he's a bass. I'll let you know how that turns out. 8)

Well I'm glad to say that it looks like the dye has worked its way out of my fish's system. He's now a beautiful orange and is doing quite well, except he sleeps tail up and nose down. Which is weird but other than that he seems very healthy. :D

I tried taking a few pictures, but he just looks like a fish shaped blur.

Well, that bass disappeared when I put a dwarf frog in the tank. But I just picked up another load of minnows today and it looks like I've got another bass. Gotta put the froggy in my 20 gal before he gets hungry. :?

I've had my tank for 3 months now with a common pleco in it and the lil guy doesn't seem to be growing at all. He's in there with a bullhead catfish however, could that be eating all his food? Or pleco's just slow growers?

I was at my LFS store yesterday picking up some salt and my girlfriend saw some painted parrots that she liked so I bought one. When I got home I did some research on them and found out how they get "painted". Needless to say I felt like crap for supporting this horrific practice, but I figure...

I've been treating the tank with that PimaFix stuff since it said that it wouldn't harm the biological filter. I haven't seen him scratching since but I've been at work all week. I'll check it out tonight.

Oh, and theres nothing that looks like a fungus or parasite on his body.

I talked to my salesman yesterday and he told me there should be no problem, but he'll have them put some extra bracing under the room the aquariums will be in.

My girlfriend and I are thinking of buying a Palm Harbor "manufactured home" and I want to put a bunch of aquariums in one of the bedrooms. But I'm not too sure if the floor will hold up to all that weight. Anyone have any ideas?

I only see my common pleco when there's a really dim light on in the room. Whenever he (or she) hears the aquarium light click on, he'll dart into his cave before it even comes on (it's got about a 1 second delay). Smart lil guy.
