I just replaced my Rio pump with a Mag 5 and the Mag is so noisy that it's driving me crazy. The pump is brand new and I have a piece of filter pad under it to absorb some vibration. Any ideas on how to quiet it down or should I just return it? Thanks for looking. Sent from my SM-G900V using...

I had this problem with my HOB overflow,and a ball valve between the overflow and sump did the trick. After you install it just adjust the flow till the gurgling sound stops. Sent from my SM-G900V using Aquarium Advice mobile app

I purchased this coral a week ago and it opened the first 2 days, it hasn't opened since. I have a 55 gal tank with sump and skimmer, aqueon 700 pump with Jaebo rw15. Ph 8.4 Dk 7 Cal 400 Temp 78.5 I also have a fluval reef light. My test kit for Phosphate and Mag expired so I need new ones...

I had an issue with surface film. I have good water movement, my filter is a hob overflow with sump and skimmer. After adjusting everything twice I figured out it was my overflow box. I adjusted it till it skimmed the film from the surface. Haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps...John...
