hello it has been almost a year since i have posted here however i again have questions
i am having a fence built around my back yard and i am afraid of the debris ending up in my pond i am plaining on covering the entire pond while the construction folks are actually working

is there anything special you should do to take fish that have been living in a fish tank inside for a few years to a outdoor pond. or is the float the bag in the water a good method for this. anyone ever kicked there fish out of the house before.

i have talked about wanting a small planted tank i have gathered many of the pieces for this but i want to use sand as my substrate (really i have already bought it from lfs) cost was not to bad due to the fact that i only needed five pounds of it so the question is how do you put this stuff...

it seems every time i pick something out at the lfs it turns out to be some cheap thing ment to be food for the other fish.
i guess this isnt the worst problem to have

and i saw somethings called g shrimp
i have to admit i have never seen them before

blk mystery snail or apple snail what ever you want to call them. I have two tanks soon to be three and everyone is always going on about pest snails. I have three snails now all from lfs and they are very large but i never have any baby snails. is that normal? i want baby snails? what can I do?

i was given a dual waterfall regent filter i am not sure how many gallons or any thing like that but i saw at the lfs a attachment that will turn the filter in to bio wheels- just wondering if anyone has done this -how did it work out for you if you did-

All right I have a question how many of you have more than one tank. I have been doing this for less than a year and I have two tanks. And I have just discovered that i am getting another for X-mas. So how many have more than one tank and how many tanks do you have if you do have more than one?
hey i was just feeding my fish and i spilled a large amount of fish food into the tank (over half the container) I immediately began to scoop out the extra food. However it took along time and the fish ate well over there fill.

I have seen some disparaging comments about the under gravel filter. And this gives me some cause for concern due to the fact that I currently have one running in my tank. I was wondering if i should take it out or is it fine in there it just is not going to help clean much...etc....

I was wondering if there was a place on the web to find cool backgrounds that you can print off on your own pc. I looked at a few at the lfs and they did not have anything that really struck my fancy just thought i would ask if anybody would know of anything
