I'm trying to stay away from any of it to be honest. What would you think about getting 2 6500k bulbs for the dual (doing away with the 5000k) and removing the single bulb fixture?

Thanks, I've read that article before. Unfortunately it only lists the 36" model and you can see with other examples that the longer fixtures have increased par ratings. So that being said I'm sure I'm above what's listed on the chart.
Also it's saying I should be using c02 with that much...
I just have the cheap odyssea dual t5 Ho and I also have a single bulb t5ho fixture that comes on a couple hours a day around noon. So in theory I currently run 2 6500k and 1 5000k bulbs, and it's a 180 gallon.

I've had a couple outbreaks of this but it only seemed to grow on my water sprite and hygrophilla. I removed as much as I could by hand then trimmed back the affected plants by like 75 percent and altered my lighting schedule a little. No sign of it for a couple months and counting

If I go to a higher K value without dosing ferts or running c02 am I gonna run into algae issues?

I might just replace with the same but was curious if someone had some better options.

It's about time for me to replace the bulbs on my T5 Ho fixture. My tank is dirted and I don't dose or use c02. I currently run a 6500k and 5000k zoomed bulbs in it and was wondering if anyone would recommend anything different. I have good growth with what I use but was just curious of others...
There is no need to remove your fish to clean the tank. Vacuum the gravel, clean the glass, rinse filter media in tank water and you're done.

Looking good, only thing I would change is maybe separate your pieces of wood, it would look more natural since they are different species of wood. And maybe collect some larger river rocks to provide some cover and break from the current for your darters. Looking forward to seeing your...
You don't need to test Low and High range PH. It can't be both. The high range PH test is only there incase your pH is off the charts in the low range.

Sorry. I'm not very knowledgeable on frogs. I wouldn't know where to begin. Hopefully someone will chime in with more experience. Good luck

It most likely hasn't finished cycling yet and is still building a nitrafying bacterial colony. Keep up with your water changes and don't let your nitrites build up. Keep a close eye on them and you should soon see your nitrates show.

Undecided. The shadows are much more prominent in photos than in person. I'll likely leave it if the plants do well.

Tank is on. I decided to dirt it with a PFS cap. Filter is running and heaters are on. I have some wood in there right now I'm trying to sink. That's why the rocks are on there. I took some trimmings from my other tanks to get them started. I'll let this wood sit for awhile then I'll seed my...
Got the stand in and tank on. I also put a couple coats of paint on the tank with one or two more to do. Unfortunately it's not sitting level, mostly front to back so I'm going to try to get it shimmed properly once all the painting is complete.
