Haha. I don't think the dude knew how much it was worth. He said his parents bought it for him and he since then moved out and lost interest.

It also came with a whole bunch of accessories. He gave me a extra hood, protein skimmer, two heaters, salt water fish books, air pump for skimmer, etc. too much to list. All it needed was a little cleaning. Score, big time yeah!

Picked up a bio cube 29 with about 30 lbs of live rock, 2 clownfish, 1 domino damsel, and 25 lbs. of live sand for $10. I thought it was fake until I called the person and sure enough, I got it.

I think I understand what you are trying to say. But with my cichlids they don't hide for very long. Just having more fish in the tank will give the more aggressive fish more, I guess you could say variety to pick on instead of the same fish all the time. So that the aggression is dispersed upon...

I would re-scape the tank than add. For best results I would remove all fish currently in the tank, re-scape than add pleco, than add the rest. Hope this helps

Ok so I have heard the same thing and I'm gonna try to explain the way I see it. With more fish in the tank the aggression is dispersed among more fish than just one or two of the weaker links. I don't think it makes the fish less aggressive but just a larger pecking order. Correct me if I am wrong

Thank you. I only handled it twice and never been stung also. It is in the tank with 2 ocellaris clowns. The lady also gave them to me and I'm sure they already know to stay clear. That article really helped clear some things up. Thanks for the help
