    Goldfish

I have two goldfish. One is bright orange/red but the other is very pale. I am feeding tetra goldfish food at the moment and am nearly at the bottom of the pot. Has anyone got any suggestions of better food which can be bought in the UK? Thanks!

    Tank Upgrade

Oh. I read that that would be fine for fancies. I know commons and comets grow bigger but that would be a start. What do you suggest?

    Tank Upgrade

I have a 20 litre tank containing 1common goldfish and one comet (due to the shop telling porky pies)! I am thinking of asking for a 100-120 litre tank for Christmas (it's going to take a lot of persuading)! I have found one for £130. I have had my fish for one year. How long do I have to move...

    Rasbora, upside down then not

Swim bladder problems can be a disease or to do with the water. I'd test your water to see if it is that! :)

    Peas

Ok. I'll see about a tank upgrade!

    Rasbora, upside down then not

    Maybe it's the swimbladder?

    Peas

I feed tetra goldfish flakes. They were on fish are fun goldfish pellets but they were not healthy so I changed.

    Peas

It is a 20 litre/10 gallon containing 2 comets and real plants. The other goldfish is healthy. I have been doing 20% water changes once a fortnight. The water tests were fine last time I tested but that was with API test strips. I realise that they should have at least a 20 gallon tank.

    Playing with fish

Does anyone know if you can leave a mirror in a tank on a permanent basis? I don't really want to set my tank on fire. It contains real plants!

    New Platy

I don't know what their tales look like in the first place but it could have been attacked by another fish or it could be fin rot. I'd go back to the shop to see if they have any treatments for the fish. Good luck!

    Peas

I've been feeding my goldfish peas because of swim bladder problems. He can't get to the bottom of the tank to eat the peas though. How can I make them accessible to him?

    Siphon filter

Was wondering when I was cleaning my tank the other day whether anyone had tried making a filter with a siphon. Instead of electricity powering the filter it would be a siphon. It would save electricity and be less noisy! Has anyone ever tried? Thanks!
